Shabana Azmi has not been seen around much but that is probably because she is in London shooting for Gurinder Chadha’s film, “It’s a Wonderful Afterlife”.One may get to see her in Mumbai on the day of the general election. Many are likely to be surprised as Shabana has put on 25 kg for her role in Gurinder’s movie.
The film is a comedy in true Gurinder style and is about a fanatical Punjabi mother who takes her obsession with marriage to the extremes.
This is first time Shabana has put on so much weight for a movie. Years ago she had put on weight for her film “Mandi” but not as much as 25 kg!
